ARES Kudo works directly in your Internet browser. With ARES Kudo you can view and modify DWG and DXF files.
In this video, we will show you how the ARES CAD software can be used to create and modify DWG or DXF files in synchronization with Box. To begin with, this is ARES Commander, our desktop version. You see on the right the Cloud storage palette. The file I am working on is stored in Box but I can work on it locally and synchronize modifications with Box. To connect ARES Commander with Box, I need to use ARES Kudo. You can get a free 30 days trial for ARES Commander and ARES Kudo, if you visit https://kudo.graebert.com and create a Graebert Account. In our Internet browser we go to kudo.graebert.com to open ARES KUDO. You can connect your Box account to ARES Kudo. It works also for any other Cloud storage service you could be used among these ones. When you return to the File explorer you will find the
The partnership with Onshape Onshape is renowned in the CAD industry for being the first and the most advanced cloud-based solution for 3D Product Design. In summer 2015, Onshape released Onshape Drawings and became the first Graebert partner releasing a solution based on ARES Kudo, Graebert’s Cloud-based technology. Onshape licensed ARES Kudo technology for Onshape Drawings Onshape Drawings allow Onshape users to document and annotate 2D views and sections of the 3D parametric models created in Onshape. The Onshape Drawings features are fully integrated into the Onshape environment and 2D views are refreshed after any change to the 3D models. This collaboration is now extending with the possibility to read and modify DWG files stored in Onshape with ARES Kudo. Graebert and Onshape extend their collaboration with DWG viewing and editing While designing their projects with Onshape, users may also need to upload to their Onshape Documents some DWG or

The concept of ARES Kudo was introduced by Robert Graebert, CTO of Graebert, at Graebert’s Annual Meeting four years ago, in Fall 2013. Graebert’s cloud-based CAD solution was first renowned for its collaboration with Onshape®, the first full-cloud 3D MCAD solution. The 2D module Onshape Drawing, released in September 2015, is, in fact, a custom version of ARES Kudo. Twelve months ago, Graebert announced the phased rollout of the first version of ARES Kudo for its subscribers as part of a unique concept: The “Trinity of CAD”. Robert Graebert, CTO of Graebert commented “The phased roll-out of ARES Kudo’s viewing and sharing features is showing satisfaction. Only a few countries in Asia are left on our rollout plan. We expect now to accelerate the deployment and start enabling the editing features to any of our subscribers willing to try them. A chat system inside ARES Kudo can be used by subscribers
Ralph Grabowski writes about the API application programming interface in ARES systems in UpFrontEzine ‘Given the hardware and OS differences, it is difficult to provide the same API [application programming interface] for all, and so here is an overview of which APIs work with cloud, mobile, and desktop. Notice that LISP, C++, DCL, and Qt are common to all three (ARES) systems.’ Read the full article by Ralph Grabowski on upFrontezine
