ARES commander edition is deep only DWG based cat software available for Windows Mac and Linux we deliver a product key and you decide which is your favourite operating system but some customers ask us for more, they want to work from different computers may be under different operating systems and pay for only one license indeed most professionals are now working with different computers at the office at home or on the go this is what license to go is about.

Graebert is introducing to you the Cross-Device CAD experience, first to activate your license on your main computer license to go will allow you to work from other computers without uninstalling the main license let’s have a closer look, this feature is for any user who has a perpetual license or annual plan, your license must be activated first on the main computer you need a valid subscription, if it has expired you can no longer use license to go you will install ARES on the new computer and follow the steps described in the next video to request a license to go nicely, when your license to go expires, you can get a new one for the same computer of another. So, let’s have a closer look good run ARES and if you have no license on this computer you will see the RUN button.
ARES will be launched in demo mode you can’t save or print it unless of course you get a license to go to the help section and choose take away license you need to define for how long it can be one to five days, keep in mind that you won’t get a new license to go until it expires that’s why sometimes you can ask for less time next, you just need to enter your product key and internet connection to check it was all a server good and now you’re ready, your license remains untouched on your main computer and you can work on the second computer. Saving a file for example is possible now it you can open and modify any DWG drawing or create a new one. Printing is also available and when the license to go expires you can follow the same steps again.
