Release: ARES Commander Edition for Macintosh

10 August, 2010 – Berlin – Graebert™ GmbH today announced that its award-winning ARES™ Commander Edition 2D/3D CAD software for Mac® OS X® is now immediately shipping at an introductory price of $495 through the end of September, a 50% discount from the regular price of $995.

For many users on the Macintosh platform, whom have been on the platform for decades and have long sought a powerful and affordable 3D CAD solution capable of supporting both AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) and MCAD (Mechanical CAD) use cases, ARES leads the way.

Using a native OS X UI (no emulation), ARES on the Mac is the first CAD solution to run across Microsoft® Windows®, Apple® Mac® OS X and Linux®, while also being optimized for specific operating system features and capabilities. iPad® support is also under active investigation to bring a full CAD solution to mobile users seeking an ideal blend of features and performance.
